River North / Paperback
Julianne used to believe in fairy tales; she's been watching for Prince Charming to come charging in on his white steed ever since the day her mother read her Cinderella for the first time. But she's never come close to finding the perfect man-instead she's always tripping over her childhood best friend, Will. And who finds their Prince Charming on a 10-speed bicycle on the other side of the cul de sac?
My thoughts:
When I was a little girl, I always loved the story about Cinderella..and in this story Julianne thinks she has found her Prince Charming when she sees him rescuing a dog in the middle of the road. But, when she tracks him down and gets to know him,..she faces some challenges and begins to wonder if he really could be her Prince.
As Julianne gets used to her new Law Offices with her best friend Will, and as they start dating other people,.... will she realize that Will has more than just "friendship" feelings towards her?
With this books well developed characters and funny situations, - I really enjoyed this story of a modern day Fairy Tale!
One of my favorite quotes from the book was:
I love this authors books!

It sounds like it's full of nice, modern twists. And of course a prince can be possibly found on a 10-speed, riding white horses is totally outdated. ;) Thanks for the great FYI review!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun book.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Sandie's books!! She's a personal friend and an awesome writer. Her series that started with "Always the Baker, Never the Bride" was SUCH fun and so well written, that I'm sure I'll love this one as well. I can't recommend her enough.
