Playaway - The All-in-one Audiobook

Do you listen to Audiobooks?   There are many ways to listen to books,  - thru Phone apps, online, CD's in your vehicle ( or at home ).  And now, one of the newest ways is Playaways! I love them! 
 Playaways are a great way to listen to books!  They are portable and easy to carry with you while you walk or exercise, ( or just lounging in your favorite chair! )  

Playaways do not need a separate player, they come pre-loaded ready to use with one audiobook per device.  **headphones not included.  ( if you check a title out at the library, they might not have a AAA battery in them. Be sure and have some AAA batteries on hand. )
 I have found alot of great titles at my library.  If your library does not have Playaways yet, ask your librarian about them! 

I recently discovered that there is a "new" version of the Playaway called Playaway LIGHT! 

With a larger backlit screen and other improved features the Playaway LIGHT sounds great!

Currently, I have been listening to 1225 Christmas Tree Lane by Debbie Macomber on a Playaway.  This is the last book in the Cedar Cove series,( and I have already read the book ) -- but its a nice story to listen to early in the morning, or late at night.

I like shopping at Etsy.com, and recently found this Etsy shop and this lovely purse! I love it!
I have never seen books, e-reader covers, or Ipad covers - made from books! What a awesome idea!

I originally started my business selling chocolate spoons to stir in your coffee- that backfired when June came around and my chocolate spoons started to melt in the Arizona heat on the way to the post office! So I quickly had to think of something different to make. That's when I started to make handbags out of books. I immediately knew it was something I loved to do from picking out the books, matching it with fabric and sewing... it's more of an addiction now!

I'm happy to say that I'm busier than ever and am starting to gear up for the Christmas season. A lot of my handbags are "Made to Order" and take about a week to complete, however I do have some handbags that are already pre-made and ready to ship. Sometimes people have books they own that they would like to be turned into handbags and they ship them to me! It really is something I Love to do and hope to one day quit my day time job and focus just on my handbags, ereader covers and Ipad covers!
