Review - Thread End by Amanda Lee

Thread End:  An Embroidery Mystery # 7

Marcy can’t wait to see the new exhibit at the Tallulah Falls museum on antique tapestries and textiles, including beautiful kilim rugs. But her enthusiasm quickly turns to terror when, the day after the exhibition opens, she discovers a dead body behind her store, the Seven-Year Stitch, wrapped up in a most unusual fashion.

My Review:
One of my favorite type of cozies have stories about Embroidery.  I like the details about the stitching and the background and work that go into making wonderful embroidery pieces.  This story had me "hooked" from the very beginning!   When Marcy finds the dead body behind her store, her friends (and her Detective boyfriend)  help her to figure out this mystery.  I enjoyed the romantic relationship between Marcy and her boyfriend, Detective Ted Nash, he is really supportive of her, and they work great together as a Team!
As everyone works thru the clues from the museum, and the crime scene, the story unfolds to some wonderful twists.  They must figure out if the stolen rug from the museum and the murder are "connected".  With a cast of interesting characters, including a very loyal dog, this is a series not to miss!

This is the first book in this series that I have read, and I'm looking forward to catching up with this series! 5 stars!
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest review.
