Its Monday! What are you Reading?

This past week, I shared two posts.  One was my Guest Post and Giveaway for Buzz Kill by Teresa Trent
( Giveaway ends late Monday evening 9/2 )
This series is special to me, I like Danny

Here is part of my Guest Post feature

I featured Danny in my fictional world because I am the parent of an adult with Down Syndrome in the real world.
My son Andrew is part of a composite of many of the young people with Down Syndrome I've had the pleasure to get to know over the years. Andrew has also been diagnosed with autism/pdd so his communication skills and functional abilities are not anywhere near Danny's abilities, but he does have his stubbornness and the ability to show love to me even when I'm tired and cranky.

I also shared a Book Review and Giveaway for Temptation by Karen Ann Hopkins.  This is a sweet story about the Amish lifestyle and the young love between Rose and Noah.

I enjoy reading books about the Amish lifestyle. This is a sweet romance about two young people( one who is Amish, and one who is not ).  The characters are strong and interesting, and I like the way that the "forbidden love" connection
between Rose and Noah is written.

  1. Hey Melissa - So my Monday read is Square of Revenge by Peter Aspe. An interesting mystery set in Belgium.

  2. School started, I'm reading textbooks. ;) And school started for the kids too, so I'm reading lots of beginning of the year paperwork that's coming home. :)

I like leisure reading, I miss it when I don't have time to indulge.
