A Wishcraft Mystery - January 2012
Darcy Merriweather has just discovered she hails from a long line of Wishcrafters-witches with the power to grant wishes by casting a spell. She's come to the Enchanted Village to learn her trade, but finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation...
"It takes a Witch" is the first in this series about Darcy and her sister, who have just found out that they are "Wishcrafters". They move to The Enchanted Village to be closer to their aunt, and to learn more about their special powers. Along the way..Darcy meets a ex-cop, ( who she is attracted to )..she also meets some "familiars", and other wonderful characters that live in The Enchanted Village. The shops have such cute names such as "All the Glitters", and "Lotions Potions".
Darcy gets involved trying to solve a murder,..there are twists and turns along the way....while everyone tries to figure out the mystery..
I really enjoyed reading "It Takes a Witch!
5 stars!
Watch for the 2nd book in this series

ReplyDeleteThe grands started school this week, even my youngest, so for the first time in 30 some odd years, I have free days. I'm going to start working on my reading list and I'm putting this one on there as well. It sounds like a great read.
