I recently found Fabric Creations Franon Etsy..she has some wonderful Quilted Bookmarks and other items that are so cute!
Fran told me that some of her bookmarks have beads, and some have
tassels. She uses a variety of fabrics for her bookmarks and she can do custom bookmarks such as fruit for a Cookbook.
Her bookmarks are quilted with Cotton Batting between the layers for the softness of a full size quilt - yet are thin enough to use with books.
