A Hoe Lot of Trouble ( A Nina Quinn Mystery ) by Heather Webber

I recently bought "A Hoe Lot of Trouble" for my Nook, and Im really enjoying it! **This is the first book in the Nina Quinn Mystery series by Heather Webber.

Nina is the owner of a landscaping firm called Taken by Suprise, her company works on suprise garden makeovers.
She is going thru a divorce, and is also having trouble with missing tools and a step-son who is getting into trouble at school.
With good friends and employees she is working on solving a murder in her town...

From www.heatherwebber.com
Nina Collette Ceceri Quinn’s business, Taken By Surprise--a landscaping firm specializing in surprise garden makeovers--is the only thing in her life that seems to be thriving. Her marriage to adulterous police detective Kevin Quinn has wilted. Her anti-social stepson Riley is spreading trouble around like pungent manure. Even her gardening tools are disappearing, including a rather valuable set of hoes. Worst of all, the delightful old man who first introduced her to the joys of horticulture is dead--and not by natural causes..

You can also find Heather Webber on the blogging schedule at killercharacters.com
~ I like KillerCharacters.com, because each Post is written from the "characters" point of view! There are over currently 30 authors on this blogs schedule, and they write very interesting articles from characters in their mysteries!

Would love to hear from you! Do you like cozy mysteries?

  1. I really love cozy mysteries. I was just telling Amy today that I can't wait for winter to get here to curl up with some books under some quilts. I read a lot during the winter because I can't get out much (cold weather affects my back). I'm going to be reading some of your picks this winter!

  2. I wish I could cuddle in this weekend with a book but I'm sure Abby isn't going to let me on this long holiday weekend ha. Have a great weekend.
