Review: White Christmas in Dry Creek by Janet Tronstad

"Love Inspired"  - Return to Dry Creek series
White Christmas in Dry Creek

Release date:  October 2013

From: http://janettronstad.com
Renee Gray doesn't believe in fairy tales—not even at Christmastime. But when a wounded stranger collapses on their porch, her daughter, Tessie, believes they've discovered a handsome Prince Charming. Though he has his own reasons for shutting out the world, Rusty Calhoun can't resist little Tessie's invitation to play a king in the church Christmas pageant. Renee and Rusty have both built up walls as tall as castles, but as their trust and love grow, they wonder whether real life can include a little storybook magic.

"The twinkle in his eyes made her catch her breath."

My thoughts:
I have enjoyed all the books in the "Return to Dry Creek" series, ( this is the 5th book in the series ).  When Rusty returns to Dry Creek, he has been injured and he collapses on Renee's porch.  At first Renee dosent know who he is, but as she gets to know him, she realizes that he is a very caring and patient man.  Renee's daughter, Tessie thinks he is a Prince, but Renee is very careful not to mislead her.  Renee's ex-husband is serving time in jail, and she is very careful with her emotions and protective with her Daughter also.
I like the way that Rusty volunteers for the Christmas Pageant, and helps out in the Community and at the Ranch were Renee works as a Cook for the ranch hands.   Within this story there is a mystery of cattle rustling, ( and Rusty's brother's part in it ), and there is also a small town feel to the story and how everyone pulls together to help each other in times of need.
This is a wonderful series, and I didnt want this book to end!
